Google Wants To Patent Driving Gesture Controls That Aren't Vulgar

One of the best driving gestures right now is prominently flashing your middle finger at that jackass that just cut you off. Now Google wants to patent gesture-based car controls that are actually useful and probably not vulgar.

Google already has a pretty big presence in the automotive space with these self driving cars that we're hearing so much about. They also bought a gesture control company, Flutter, this week, so this makes sense.

In fact, the patent reminds us a lot of the controls that were in the Hyundai HCD-9 Concept from Detroit in January.
