There's only so many ways to make a car unveiling exciting. Some companies turn to pyrotechnics, others just roll 'em out onstage. And then there's Mercedes, which had a "flash" mob of singers belt out a bastardized Janis Joplin's "Mercedes Benz."

This video cuts out the beginning of the performance, with the singers placed in the audience jumping to their feet and warbling loudly, before dancing their way on stage where a Mercedes Benz executive clapped along in that way parents do at school pageants. Some of the shock was diluted for the portion of the crowd that could see the teleprompter and its cue of "FLASH MOB ENTERS." Oh Lord, indeed.
