Ford plans on showing off four Mustangs here at the 2007 SEMA show, with two of the four coming from the classic customizers at Classic Design Concepts. One of the two CDC 'Stangs is a little dreamboat they're calling the '67 "Flashback" — it's actually CDC owner George Huisman's personal car. It's an all new revisioning of the '67 Mustang built from the ground up with new parts starting with a Dynacorn body authorized by Ford. Finished with a custom Metal flake Sherwin Williams Pearl Blue paint, the Flashback sits pretty on top of the 18" Forgeline wheels. Under the hood the base model — yes, you too will be able to order one of these complete from CDC — will be a 302 cubic-inch V8 with 375 HP and a 5-speed transmission, but the real fun's in the optional accessories. Like how about a 600 HP 5.4 liter supercharged V8 mated to a 6 speed Tremec transmission? Yes, please. Actually, we're just excited to see what a '67 Mustang would look like designed from the ground up today. The answer, as you can obviously tell, it that it'd be retro-cool and retro-hot.
