The Ford F-150 SVT Raptor 6.2 gives Dearborn's purpose-built off-roader an extra dose of power. Hennessey's 600-hp, twin-turbocharged version of the 6.2 gives it an Olympic-sized swimming pool full of testosterone.
The package includes a twin-turbo system with matching intercoolers that lurk deviously behind the grille. In addition to the upgraded fuel system, boost controller, and tuning needed to keep the engine breathing right, the crew at HPE added a stainless-steel exhaust to help belch out fumes as well as produce a zombie-summoning ruckus. All of this is good for an estimated 605 hp and 622 lb-ft of torque, a gain of nearly 50% over the already muscular Raptor 6.2.
Official performance numbers haven't been released, but given that the VelociRaptor 500 does the 0-to-60-mph sprint in just 5.6 seconds, we're guessing that the 600 will be capable of something in the low fives. In a truck. That weighs over 6000 pounds.
They've gone to plaid!
Total cost for the package is $22,950 by mail or $29,950 installed with a one-year/12K mile warranty. If you're not planning on helping your cousin escape from a secret prison in Iran, we're not sure why you'd need such a vehicle, but your circulatory system is busted if you don't want one.
