It's the New York Auto Show kickoff day this morning, but a chuck of the news broke last night as auto journos sucked down free booze and free food (mostly the booze). Here's everything you care about so far.
New York, usually the bastion of mid-size sedans will actually have some sporty dynamism with the 2015 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 Convertible and 2016 Mazda Miata. Going up in weight, there's also the S63 AMG Coupe, Lamborghini Huracan, Audi RS7 Exclusive RS7 Dynamic Edition and Aston Martin N430. It's actually freezing out there today, but they're giving us a BMW M4 Convertible to taunt us.
Oh, and there are barely modified mid-cycle refresh sedans, of course. The 2015 Volkswagen Jetta, the 2015 Nissan Versa, the longer 2015 Infiniti Q50, 2015 Subaru Outback, and eventually a new-ish Camry.
The Land Rover Discover Concept sure looks like a Ford Explorer, but it can be driven by remote control, so that's something. If you're into crossover-type objects you might also care about the 2015 Nissan Murano and possibly the 2015 Kia Sedona.
Plus some surprises, we hope. Surprises that are better than the Chevy Trax.
What are you looking forward to seeing?
