Once again Vel Satis fans, Renault's homme-ies have signalled their intention to dominate the strangely neglected SUV-based luxury car genre. The Egeus may not be a particularly egregious example, but the concept, um, "thing" still struggles to combine an SUV, sedan and four-door coupe. This time 'round we get suicide doors, double dubs, four-wheel-drive and a 250hp 3.0-liter V6 diesel engine (how "resolutely upmarket" is that?). Crossover or crossed wires? We report, you decide.
