Although it is shown here sitting in a Michigan junkyard surrounded by other old rusty Mopars, this 1960 Dodge Dart doesn't look too far gone. Judging from the chrome side trim this was the entry level Seneca model, the lowest Dart sold that year. It is anyone's guess why this old Dart ended up in the junkyard, but this Dodge's low model designation and four doors couldn't have helped the car's chances of avoiding it. More »

Far too often when an old junkyard full of classic iron closes, decades of restorable cars and valuable parts are cashed out for whatever the per ton rate of scrap metal is at the time.
