We've been quite shocked by how utterly, horribly terrible Mitsubishis have been in the 24 Hours Of LeMons. Eclipse, 3000GT, Talon, Colt, whatever, it's spent more time in the pits than on the track. Won't someone find a reliable Starion and race it? We totally want to see a Starion take the overall win! More »

Ham radio appears to be more of an addiction than a hobby to the seller of this $500 Dodge. Every surface is covered with $25K in communications equipment for every conceivable band (FM/UHF/HF/VHF/SPACEMAN). Ready to cast some Nice Price Or Crack Pipe judgment this morning? 60% of you thought that the $12,500 1973 Ford Ranchero camper was way overpriced, in spite of that 351C/4-speed setup. Today we're going for something a little more affordable, in honor of the onrushing Financiapocalypse. Sometimes you see a car project and you have to wonder what the builder could have been thinking? It's obvious that a lot of thought and quality workmanship went into this '84 Colt Turbo- which even has the extra-hip Twin Stick dual-range transmission- but, well, why? Anyway, the important issue here is price; what do you say? More »

What did hep early-70s skiers crave most on the slopes? You got it- tall cans of Colt .45! Aaah, nothing feels quite as good as staggering helplessly into a snowbank, your ski pants sodden with unnoticed urine and the meat of your knuckles shredded from some other skier's busted bicuspids- yes, that's what skiing is all about! But what if you've run out of 16-ouncers and you've assigned Redd Foxx to beer-run duty, and he's driving "Redd's Sled," which appears to be a rally-prepped, fender-flared proto-Colt/crypto-Galant of some sort? Hilarity ensues! Bonus points for anyone who can identify the car; I've been watching this thing like it's the Zapruder Film, and the best I can do is interpret those round pillar emblems as probable Colt items and say "Colt with weird taillights" or maybe "Cricket after a Bondo attack." More »
