If you've been reading Jalopnik, today's newly-unveiled logo for Dodge won't surprise you. Last month we showed you our rendering of a new Dodge logo based on reports from our sources. As you can see, we were right.

With the Ram logo and badge leaving with Chrysler's new Ram brand, Dodge was left with a pentagon-shaped hole in their lineup. Based on our sources and a discussion at Allpar we put together our own rendering. But while others wavered we stood our ground.

The reveal of the 2011 Dodge Durango was also, slyly, the reveal of the new logo and, lo and behold, it's the same design we created.

Okay, maybe the final version is a little less Luftwaffe-ish.
