The power thirsty folks at AutoWeek are reporting that the Aston Martin is ready to take on Ferrari with the V12 Vantage RS, which should replace the vanished Vanquish as the brand's top offering. The monster engine is said to be taken from the DBRS9 race car, thereby giving it something in the range of 600 hp, with the 0-60 mph run in less than 4.0 seconds and a top speed close to 200 mph. More »

Edmunds has new spy imagery of Aston Martin's coming pedestrian version of the latest Bond car, the DBS. According to its Straightline blog, Aston's planning to call the roadway model DBS9. Don't confuse it with the club racer DBS9, this one will be streetable, though built in small quantities, with something like 500 brake horses in the stable. This tester, caught on the N

rburgring, looks to be a different animal from the one featured in Car magazine earlier this year. Yes, Ms. DBRS9, we think we will enjoy very much serving under you. – Mike Spinelli More »
