Auto reviewer and "The Car Show" host Dan Neil has made a $1 million wager with Tesla founder Elon Musk over Tesla's plans for the Model S sedan, with Neil betting Tesla can't put a seven-seat, battery-swappable vehicle on road by 2012.

If Neil wins, Musk donates $1 million to Doctors Without Borders; if Musk wins, Neil's only on the hook for $1,000. Either way, the money goes to the charity, which will have no way to treat the loser's acute ego deflation.
