WaPo Columnist Recommends Domestics, World Stops Spinning

The bow-tied folks at the GM Inside News Forums are giddy over a Washington Post chat that featured mild recommendations of the Chevy Malibu and Cadillac CTS4 over the Honda Accord and Infiniti G35. The comments came from the WaPo's Warren Brown and seems to mark a new period in American automotive history, at least from the perspective of forum members. Specifically, in a live chat Brown said "... [T]he (Infiniti) G35 is quite a bargain. But I am more likely to buy the Cadillac CTS4—excellent overal perfrmance, beautiful styling, more my kind of car." Photos of the Malibu and more comments below:

He had similar comments for the Malibu, saying: "No teething problems on the new Chevrolet Malibu. I've closely watched the development of this one from beginning to end. I'm more than confident that it will do well in the marketplace buy serving its buyers well and by offering them surprising value. How confident? If you buy it and have ANY problems with it, contact me at warbro70@aol.com. I know exactly who to go to on this one." [WaPo via GM Inside News Forums]
