Literally flying in the face of GM's storied reputation for quality, 22,090 targa-top Corvettes from 2005-2007 are being recalled due to faulty adhesive that can cause roof panels to fly off and cause fiery death to yourself to others.

The recall affects 2005-07 model year Corvettes and 2005-06 Z06s equipped with targa roofs. Dealers will replace the faulty roofs with an all-new design free of charge. [NHTSA]
