Gawker Technology LLC and Jalopnik.com would like to clarify the record regarding a certain article titled "Confederate Motorcycles: MotoTerminators Come to Life" which was published on April 9th, 2009. Confederate claims that our reporter received erroneous information from a former employee of Confederate. Gawker Technology LLC and Jalopnik.com were unaware of this situation despite our usual due diligence regarding all articles published on our websites. Upon further investigation, we do not have any proof that Confederate is 'unable to do business' in New York, as stated in the post, and regret any confusion the article may have caused.
