Tokyo Auto Show: Mitsubishi Concept ZT

mitsubishi_concept_zt_new.jpgWhither the next Mitsubishi Galant? We'll see. But you could do far worse than betting it'll look like the Concept ZF Mitsubishi's rolling out next month in Tokyo. The Concept ZT is a showcase platform for Mitsubishi's latest midsize styling play, and features the company's latest driver-assistance features, like lane-drift warning, all-around-view monitors, and parking assistance. It's also fitted with a 2.2-liter low-C02 diesel that produces 188 horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque for low-down sedan-pulling fun. Also, to satisfy new pedestrian safety laws, the hood pops up to act as a buffer for a struck streetwalker's head, minimizing injury and making for some awkward post-accident conversations.
