Not only did the Fiero blow up after 8 miles (they set their trip odo), the car arrived the day before after 3+ days of towing by Mike Austin's (the guy in the picture) sister Erica, who pulled the car SOLO from Ann Arbor.

Spada isn't a fly-by night designer--among others, he/they have done the AM DB4 GTZ (JFG if I remember); the Alfa Romeo Coda Tronca SZ, TZ1, and TZ2; Lancia Fulvia Sport; Osca 1600, and I believe the E32 and E34 BMWs.
