<![CDATA[Comments from TampaRon]]> <![CDATA[Comments from TampaRon]]> <![CDATA[TampaRon commented on 2009 Volkswagen GTI Drops In On Paris, Brings Two Extra Doors]]> Looks great. Unfortunately when it gets to America the ride height will be way up so us dumb Americans wont be running it up on the curbs and ripping off the lower valance. Its true, that's why all VW's get to our shores now looking like they are victims of a lift kit.

My friend bought a Jetta and would drive the front over a parking curb, then back up and rip off half the bumper. Do you think she blamed her shitty driving skills? NO, she blamed the car and was constantly ditching VW by saying "my car is always in the shop". Yes! because you cant freakin drive. VW and Audi purposely raised the height on their cars for this reason and it looks terrible.

Shes no longer my friend.

<![CDATA[TampaRon commented on 1989 Chevrolet Camaro: The Heartbeat Of America, Oh Yeah!]]> This ad would still be relevant today with the "Heartbeat of America", it just needs George Bush behind the wheel of an 89 Camaro sitting along side I-10 with black smoke boiling out from under the hood. And who comes along to tow W and his Camaro in? Why, its communist China with a shiny new Chery tow-truck (that looks eerily like an F-150).

China in their shiny Chery Tow-Truck (that looks eerily like an F-150): "That will be 700 trillion dollars George"

George: "Fine with me, I'll just let the Amurican people figure out how to pay it all back, I'm almost to Crawford!"

<![CDATA[TampaRon commented on VW Pickup Concept Revealed, Potentially Named "Pickup"]]> I like it. It looks FAR better than the Gagalanche designed Ridgeline. I just hope they lose the faux roll-bars.

This will look very nice in the drive next to the A5.

<![CDATA[TampaRon commented on Congruity, Pennsylvania: Home Of World's Only Drive-Through Strip Club]]> One better...get your car washed while you watch! Greensboro NC has an exotic car wash. Im told that if you go to pump 5 at the BP next door you can see right in when the cars drive out. Not that I have tested that theory or anything...

<![CDATA[TampaRon commented on 2009 Acura TL Priced At $34,995]]> So disappointing. The current TL is a good looking car at every angle and has aged well. This is just a slap to the face of everyone who likes the TL. Were they trying to hard or just drunk???

<![CDATA[TampaRon commented on Chevy Volt, Live And Unplugged!]]> I can admit that the concept looked way cool but lets be real, it would sell for a while and then the looks of it would wear off as new and trendy and then plummet. Look at sport coupes, their life expectancy is about 2 years.

Anyone in marketing would understand that the Volt is not intended to be a 2 year cycle car. It needs to be a design that will last for years and I think they have done a good job with it. So get over it, if you want something trendy, buy a Hummer... oops, that trned is over. Get it???

<![CDATA[TampaRon commented on Ford Wishes GM Happy 100th Birthday On Side Of World Headquarters, Saves Money On Card, Cake]]> You guys are HARSH. As an American, I wish the best for both of these companies. I will be the first one to say they dug their own hole but at least GM is learning. Hopefully Ford will come around also.

]]>
<![CDATA[TampaRon commented on Edmunds Thinks Chevy Volt Design Is "Huge Disappointment," "Completely Unacceptable"]]> One more thing...If GM would have over styled the Volt she would be bitching about that. It seems like GM is damned if you do and damned if you dont. The Malibu is the best looking car in its class (new Mazda 6 aside), the Camaro looks great, the G8 is hot (looks better than the 5 series), the Astra coupe is really nice, the upcoming Cruze looks like a winner and yet they get no credit from the naysayers.

Have you seen the new Corolla?? My god that thing is boring and bland. I dont hear anyone saying anything bad about Toyota for that disaster. Give GM a break. OK, Im done.
