graverobber- Same great taste, new low price! on Apr 30, 2008

Hey there Al,
From your business web site, I see we are in the same industry. I'm at G2 direct & digital, however on the west coast, so I don't feel any competitive pangs. Great "how-to" commentary today, things have been getting a bit unruly here as of late. BTW, very nice web site for Mint Advertising. Well done that.

Take care,
Graverobber

Al, come over and take a look at our Challenger coverage over on Automotive Traveler (automotivetraveler.com) and leave some comments!

@Al Navarro: Then you're in luck! -VW(oA?)'s director of marketing is this smartass guy named Stefan, and at AdWeek a few years ago he specifically gave a talk on Cherry Picking small but awesome shops and how that risk paid off with more interesting stuff than the weak, bland, "Just Trying Not To Lose The Client" work that many big AORs turn out. Where there's a will, there's a way.

Hi Al.
I love your car ad reviews. Here's an ad for the citroen C-crosser that I find interesting:

cheers!

I dunno what happened with that...Navalb was how I was ID'd on my highschool computer, and it's the user name I've had on AY OH ELL for like, ever. Should be correct now. For the record, I've written 2 more of those Ad Critiques, and am just waiting for Ray to run them.

Wha's with the new handle? Is that for "Navarro, Al, version B?"

I just want to clarify my "why Al Navarro" question from yesterday. It's not a matter of disliking your contributions, I just frequently finding myself wondering about the seamy underbelly of the internet that is (actually more WAS) blogs, and where they fit in as far as news source, educational tool, etc. Needless to say, I'm intrigued by a that pops up as an offshoot of Gawker, gets press passes to industry events, and has regular commenter's of whom at least one has become a contributor to real articles rather than just comments. Anyway, keep up the good work.
