Here's what I do. Take whatever picture you like on the 'net and save it on your computer somewhere handy as a .jpg for most, but it doesn't matter really. But you do have to save it to your computer, you can't really link to "live" pictures or you might end up like FatBraff with his Mexican turd flag fiasco. Once it's saved, go to TinyPic and then "browse" and find it on your computer, select it, and then hit upload. They'll show you your image plus several options for how to display it. Select the bottom most option, click on the line of words and symbols to "save" and then come back to your comment block on Jalop and right click to select "paste." This is a good time to check-mark the "preview" option by the comment block. Then go back to the text block and type

replace the * with a <
But don't close the tag with a > or it won't work.
Also, if your image is large (preview to make sure), add height=x width=x after the quotation marks that are at the end of the URL and replace the x's with numbers. Again preview to make sure the image looks right...
