Second Lamborghini Reventon For Sale By Innovation Cars

Five months ago we told you about the owner of Innovation Cars and his attempt to sell his yet-to-be-delivered $1.5 million Lamborghini Reventon. One of the limited run of only 20 of the bull-branded budget-busters first revealed at the Frankfurt Auto Show, we wondered whatever happened to his attempted sale. Well, it looks like although Hugh McAuley was able to part with the LP640-derived and up-priced Lambo it sure wasn't easy for a variety of reasons which he's detailed below the jump. The important news however is that he's got another Lamborghini Reventon to sell. Bidders interested should contact him via the link below the jump. Unless you're a scam artist. Or a "blagger." Then you should just leave him the hell alone.

They Did What Now? "Fishing Guy" Drives Multimillionz Lambo for PopSci

Please, please tell me PopSci didn't send a fishing writer who's working on his novel in Spain to test drive Lamborghini's $1.4 million Reventón. That's not exactly like Rachel Ray profiling NASA's Ares I launch vehicle, but it certainly is a lucky break for a guy who spends time suffocating aquatic vertebrates for fun. I call sour grapes! Millions Served: PopSci Drives the Lamborghini Reventon

Popular Science car guy William R. Snyder got a coveted spot covering the first press drive of the Lamborghini Reventön (sorry, Reventón). That's the million-Euro Murciêlago LP640 imbued with fighter-jet mojo by way of copious carbon fiber and a cockpit-like interior. We're still far more impressed with Lamborghini's unmitigated gall than with the Reventøn's performance figures or rattle sheet of carbon-fiber alterations, but then, there's that sound. Buy A Lamborghini Reventon Of Your Very Own

It appears the exclusive club of lucky buyers granted the right from Lamborghini to buy one of the 20 $1.5 million bull-brand Reventon super-priced cars may still have a member who's not yet been decided. The ex-professional soccer player Hugh McAuley, owner of Innovation Cars out of the UK is putting his Reventon up for sale. So if you've got the money and the lack of common sense necessary to give it up for this big-chin Lambo, there's a man named Hugh who can help you make your dreams come true. [via Pistonheads]

FerrariChat forum contributor "JWolf" is very excited because he's getting an all new $1.4 million Lamborghini Reventón — the same big-chin Lambo we broke news on not once, but twice and showed you live pictures of from Frankfurt. He's getting "Number 4" of 20 to be precise. [FerrariChat]

Frankfurt Auto Show: Lamborghini Reventón

What costs $1.4 million, looks vaguely aeronautical, and it's been in the rumor mill since last month? You are correct, sir. It's the Lamborghini Reventón, introduced by Lambo boss, the ever dapper Stephan Winkelmann. As we reported recently, it's based on the LP640, but as we didn't report, it's named after the bull that killed famed toreador Felix Guzman in 1943 (Wrecked Exotics call the front desk.) Still, ever since Lambo's parent built a far more mad machine for a loss at $1.4 million, we're kind of jaded in that price range. A four-fold-priced bespoke Murcielago with a jet fighter dash is neat, but is it mad enough? More »

Frankfurt Auto Show: Lamborghini Drops One-Million Euro Supercar

We brought the news to you first just a week ago and even made fun of it earlier today, but now it's official — here in Frankfurt, Lamborghini just rolled out its first entry in the seven-figure car sweepstakes. To be dubbed Reventon, it's based on the Murcielago LP640, and it'll cost a breezy one-million euros. Only 20 are set to be constructed, and all have been already betrothed to high rollers who've reportedly ponied up more than $300,000 each as a deposit. Rumors had indicated the car was inspired by jet fighters, a prospect bourne out by the greenish dash cluster. It even has a gauge to track G forces, just in case you weren't busy enough making that sweeping left hander off the back straight on track day. The official rollout will take place at the show tomorrow. We'll be there.
