You can't make this stuff up, and this group even paid for a press release on PR Newswire. Shiftyworld.com is the home for a new group that wants to protect the existence of the manual transmission. The site actually has a lot of interviews with race car drivers and some driving tips but we're not sure why anyone would want a "premium" membership to the site to access all of the info. Is it a serious lobbying effort or a humorous group of like-minded enthusiasts?
