2010 mazda3
While the
2010 Mazda3 sedan is all smiles, we're reserving our grins for the Mazda3 hatchback. This is why we're so pleased Mazda's press people provided us with what has to be the most beautiful set of spy photos we've ever seen. Rather than leaving the job of snapping photos of the new Mazda3
con camo to the quick shutters of KGP, the press office hired someone to make an entire set of glamour shots of the covered hatch crossing Iceland. The
new Mazda3 looks sporty in person and, from what we can see, the hatch looks just as sporty.

baby rolls
The boys from KGP have just gotten us the first shots of the interior of the new entry-level
Baby Rolls, or RR4. The shots show a car with typical Rolls Royce style, but at a more-Financiapocalypse-like price of between $200,000 and $250,000. This makes sense as the Rolls Royce RR4 is set to be slated between parent company BMW's
2009 BMW 7-series and the top-of-the-line
Rolls Royce Phantom, with parts from the former and the style of the latter. The new exterior photos also give us a more clear picture of the curvier shape and sleeker profile of the new Rolls Royce. Just use your imagination to add the gigantic chrome grille. More details in the spy report below the jump.

Mercedes SLC Gullwing
Last time the new
Mercedes SLC was caught on camera, the big gullwing doors were in
the attack position. This time, the doors were apparently in the same position and either the spy-shooting camera, or scanner of a dealer photo of some sort, was much closer. How close? Well, that picture above we've received from our good friends at
World Car Fans appears to be the first shot of the interior of the new SLR-replacing
Mercedes SLC Gullwing. So what's it reveal?

nissan 370z
We've already seen most of the
Nissan 370Z (even
dissecting the design), set to debut at the
LA Auto Show next week. Now these photos from
GTR-World show us more of a fuller sense of what the engine bay and trunk portal will look like. As you'd imagine, the 3.7-liter VQ37VHR V6 is there in all its normally-aspirated glory, crossed by a large tower bar. Moving to the opposite end of the vehicle you'll notice the
2009 Nissan 370Z features a decently-sized pass-through storage area, at least for this class. What else do we know about the new Z-Car?

detroit auto show
Back
in August we told you Lexus plans to unveil a new hybrid-only model at the
Detroit Auto Show in January at the same time as the reveal of the new third-generation
2010 Toyota Prius. Now, a newly published rendering from Japanese buff book
Mag-X may give us some clues of what to expect from a car they claim will be badged as the Lexus HS250h.

spy photos
Not really. We're almost 100% sure the top photo, uncovered by the very strange-to-look-at Vince Burlapp, is a
Toyota Aurion, the Camry's Australian sibling, and not the 2010 Toyota Camry. Though it isn't the new, next-generation Camry, it is a reminder America's best-selling mid-size car will likely get a makeover soon. Rather than the more bland styling of the Aurion, we suspect the next face lift for the Camry will include the sharper headlights of the
Matrix and U-shaped grille of the
new Corolla. We've also been told to expect the next Camry update to include at least one new engine. We do not, however, expect it to come in flavors other than vanilla.[

2010 ford mustang gt
Dear god, it's yet another teaser shot of the
2010 Ford Mustang GT. This one shows off the sensuous duck-tail curves of the new rear end of Ford's pony car. Along with the strip tease, Ford's telling us
"The decklid spoiler is redesigned into a duck-tail form, with several options, including one that incorporates a rear-view camera, are available."

2010 porsche cayman s
Despite the ubiquity of semi-disguised
Porsche Panameras making a
secret publicity tour of the United States, we haven’t seen much of the
2010 Porsche Cayman since we exclusively unveiled it back in July. Now, an eagle-eyed
Cayman Club forum member has spotted a trifecta of the updated sports cars winging their way into LAX. We’re sure it’s not a coincidence that they arrived just two weeks before the LA Auto Show.

2010 ford mustang
Ford plopped out another overwhelmingly exciting
2010 Mustang teaser shot today, again showing us its slab-faced dash, retro-feel door cards and lackluster three-spoke wheel. At least this proves we'll be getting a good old American ignition tumbler instead of one of those Euro-sissy keyless jobs. Check back soon as we continue our relentless march towards the
LA Auto Show. I can see the promised land!
