				Like lots of car guys, I have a very specific weakness for one particular class of automobile. 				I think there's been some sort of unspoken, secret agreement between car designers and automotive engineers where designers get all the celebrity and coffee table books about them, as long as they leave space on the cars to stick badges explaining all the technical stuff the engineers worked so hard for. Maybe there's a backrub exchange as well. 				The man who designed some of the wildest and most successful Formula One cars of all time, as well as the McLaren F1, is indeed something of a prophet of clever aerodynamics. 				To see the most interesting document at the <a href="http://jalopnik.com/frankfurt-motor-show/">Frankfurt Motor Show</a>, one had to get a particular stool at Lotus then not sit down on it. Beneath a layer of glass was a page from Colin Chapman&rsquo;s notebook from the summer of 1975 which contains many of his iconic quotes about Formula One cars.
