We're running out of ways to tell you NOT to hack electronic road signs, but after some recent unpleasantness we're grateful the quality's going up. South Carolina has hunters, zombies, and tanks… oh my!

Hackers in South Carolina used the simple steps we were insistent they shouldn't follow and took to various electronic construction signs in the Fort Mill area.

There's the classic "Zombies ahead" sign, another more realistic one noting "Watch for Hunters," and our favorite sign declaring "Be alert for Tanks." The AP drolly notes that "There have been no reports of zombies. Or tanks." But aren't they missing the point? If there were Zombies ahead I'd hope tanks and hunters were also around.
