Shots of an oddly chopped-and-bedded Audi Q7 have been circulating, leading some to wonder if it's truly a partially-decapitated SUV, or a VW Amarok pickup fitted with an Audi's front clip. Either way, it's been confirmed Photoshop-free, for what that's worth.

With no additional information on the utility-built Q7, some might speculate it's a secret Audi project making the festival rounds ahead of the Frankfurt motor show in September. Don't bet on it.
