European rally driver and co-driver, Rajd Elmot and Osuch Szczepanski, saw their car impaled by a branch during the 2009 Rajd Elmot-Krause race. They didn't realize how luck they were until they watched this in-car camera footage afterward.

The proximity of the branch to either one of their heads is phenomenal and we're guessing that the alternate scenario to this crash will haunt these two for years to come. [via youtube]
