GM Takes an Interest in Oakland

102 years ago last Thursday the newly formed GM bought an interest in Oakland Motor Car Corporation. Pontiac was introduced as a companion brand to Oakland in 1926. By 1933, Pontiac was so popular it absorbed the entire Oakland Company.
