This new photo from the LIFE Tumblr shows the exact moment a car bomb in a province South of Bangkok goes off. Notice the bomb squad member near the armed Civic.

Thai insurgents are believed to be behind the bomb, which injured several police officers including the bomb squad member. Authorities suspect it was the work of insurgents, who often plant multiple bombs in devices to injure bomb techs.
