Ferrari’s Formula One Car Has Already Caught On Fire

The 2013 F1 season is only four days into testing and a Ferrari has already caught on fire.

The fire occurred while Ferrari's reserve/development driver Pedro de la Rosa was piloting the F138 for the pre-season test at Jerez, in Spain. The car didn't make it more than two laps before it burst.

We cannot say precisely what caused the apparent engine failure, but we would chalk it up to being a Ferrari.

Nico Rosberg's Mercedes W04 caught fire on the first day of Jerez testing, but we don't care because it's not a Ferrari. Also, Hammy crashed into a wall.
