The Ferrari Mondial has never been the most loved car to come out of Maranello. But don't tell that to the hardcore Ferrari fanatics over at MotorWeek.
The "timeless" Mondial has shortcomings in the handling department, which MotorWeek chalks up to the touring side of the Mondial's character. It also sounds rather tame, doesn't it?
This video also marks the first time I've ever heard John Davis say the word "butts," and he uses it to refer to the butts of every MotorWeek staffer that popped a seat in the Mondial. Delectable.
John also says something great: "You buy a Ferrari for what it is. If you don't like it, buy an NSX." I couldn't say it better myself.
Ok, enough from me. Just listen to that delicious sound the gearshift makes when going between the gates. Tasty.
MotorWeek Theater is our showcase of some of our favorite classic reviews from public television's finest motoring program. How does this video only have 13,514 views on YouTube? It's Maranello-rific!
