Boats! They're all fun and games until one of them catches fire. I've been there before and so have you, probably. Then you're faced with the dilemma of how to put it out. You're surrounded by water, which has been scientifically proven to put out flames. But how do you get the water into the boat?
This video from a lake in New Zealand shows one great solution: Have a buddy in another boat kick up a few big waves to splash the flame-engulfed boat. It's ingenious in its simplicity!
I'm surprised more people don't do this. Leave it to the Kiwis to revolutionize boat-based firefighting.
