We saw Ken Block get knocked out of the Global Rallycross Championship final because his car was on fire. This Argentinean racer not only finished his race while his car was on fire, he won. Hell yeah.
Well, it's actually a wildly unsafe and terrible idea to keep yourself strapped into a big, flaming metal coffin of a car while rocketing around a circuit. Don't try this at home, folks.
There are still racers who compete while on fire (remember that Tasmanian Lamborghini?), but this 1988 Renault Fuego race remains one of the most reckless moments in motorsports history.
