Dodge Can't Tell The Difference Between Its Own Car And A BMWS

Chrysler Co. has a spotty history in social media. Sometimes they're brilliant and sometimes they drop the f-bomb on Detroit drivers. It seems like today they just left the intern in charge. It didn't go well.

Yes, that's an E46 BMW that Dodge itself has called a Challenger. You like the kidney grill on that 'Dodge'? We do.

It's not the worst thing they've tweeted. That honor goes to the tweet sent out by the employee of a company hired to run their account. He wrote: "I find it ironic that Detroit is known as the #motorcity and yet no one here knows how to fucking drive." Despite his excellent use of hashtags, he was fired. Then he blamed Tweetdeck.

While we're on the subject of Chrysler's social media screw-ups, let's not forget how they bungled a payola/postola scheme to bring a bunch of mommy bloggers into their good graces. Oh Chrysler, just turn all your accounts over to Raph.
