The Subaru BRZ and Scion FR-S twins are some of the most exciting cars for enthusiasts to hit the roads since the original Mazda Miata made it's debut. But one thing was missing from the equation.

Power.

Thankfully, the aftermarket has stepped in a the BRZ is now a bonafide rocketship.

The World's Fastest Subaru BRZ Is A Drag Strip Destroying, Turbocharged Rocket ShipS

When we first brought you news of the first turbocharged BRZ, the white Visconti Tuned, Accelerated Performance car had gotten power up to 213 at the wheels, which is a 54.5 horsepower jump over the stock car.

Since then, they've gone a little bonkers.

The BRZ is now making 440 horsepower at the wheels, which is another 227 horsepower jump. Basically, they've added the power of a 2001 WRX to what they had.

The results are pretty astonishing. The BRZ ran the quarter mile in 11.35 at 127.5 MPH. That's seriously quick. For comparison sake, the 2013 Nissan GT-R runs the quarter in 10.8 seconds. For a little Subie, that ain't too bad.

Well done gentlemen!
