The Boeing 787 Dreamliner has been in service for no more than a few months and already some Boeing test pilot has tagged the American Northwest like an Etch-a-Sketch with a 787 logo. Damn hooligans.
This isn't the first time that Boeing pilots did some skywriting on a long test flight; some 747-8F pilots tagged most of the Midwest with "747" last August.
According to All Things 787, this is plane ZA236, currently performing the final tests of the Dreamliner's GEnx-1B engines.
With a planned delivery to Air India at the end of the month and hundreds of test hours still to log, the crew of ZA236 will have plenty of opportunities for even more elaborate tags. We're still waiting for "BOEING RULEZ."
