These stunning sculptures are made from recycled tires

Next time you see your old pair of worn Kumhos chucked into a pile just imagine what would happen if they were given to Korean artist Yong Ho Ji, the Michelangelo of recycled tire art.

Yong Ho Ji's work is perennially featured on websites so it's possible you've seen some of his sculptures before, but it's worth revisiting it to see some of his latest work.

After years of complaining about hybrids lacking spirit, energy, or any visceral emotion credit the artist for filling an obvious need with this series animal-human hybrids. Lion Woman, in particular, is even more unnerving than the SsangYong Rodius that probably donated its rubber for the project.
