The NFL's carried its crusade against concussion-causing hits into the realm of car commercials, successfully convincing Toyota to remove video of a staged high school helmet-to-helmet tackle from a car commercial... about helping treat concussions.

A spokesman for the NFL told the LA Times "the overall tone and tenor of the spot was unfair." Toyota disagreed, but still pulled the clip from all commercials airing during NFL games or programs.

Unfair because it reflects something that doesn't happen, thus making the NFL's crusade unnecessary? Is it unfair because it's wrong to research sports injuries? Does NFL take responsibility for what happens in fictional high school games?
