If I had to pick, it was the AFX Ultra-5 Speed Steer slotless racecar track. Some of my friends got the vastly inferior TCR system. No comparison, I say. So what was your fondest car-related gift memory?

Nothing beats Christmas morning, except perhaps the first day of Hanukah, for kids' first exposure to car-related excitement. Waking up to that fully-configured Pro-Am Classic race set (well, sort of. Sorry dad.) was like being shot out of a cannon into Awesomeland. So what if they didn't have the rights to use Can-Am — the cars still looked like a McLaren M20 vs. a Porsche 917/10K. And the controllers had freaking steering wheels on them. What about you?
