The EPA Thinks This Rolls-Royce Is A "Small Car"S

I just realized the EPA classifies the 5,798 lb. Rolls-Royce Phantom Coupe as a "small car." Just to put that in perspective, the 3,217 lb. Honda Accord is classified as a "large car." This is ridiculous.

The Honda Accord Crosstour, on the other hand, is an SUV. Don't even get me started on that one.

But seriously, the EPA's got to have a better definition of vehicle type than just how many doors it has and whether it's got an oddly-shaped rear end. Right? Right?!

This is indicative of why we detest government classification of vehicles. They're always so woefully behind the curve it's not even funny. And here's a great example.
