This Probe 16, a.k.a. the Durango '95 driven in "A Clockwork Orange" that was last seen sitting in pieces under the glare of Top Gear's cameras has been restored to full guttiwuts-vibratey capacity.
The British-built Probe 16s, an attempt by designers Dennis and Peter Adams to build the lowest-riding vehicle possible, were first unveiled in 1969. Powered by an 1.8-liter Austin engine and accessed via a sliding roof, only three are known to exist today. The owner of the movie car told a forum that the other two reside in Ottawa, where they're being restored as well.
