Welcome to Down On The Mile High Street, where we admire old vehicles found parked on the streets of the City That Rust Sorta Ignored: Denver, Colorado. DOTS has left Alameda, but that doesn't mean the series has to stop!
Even though it snows in the winter here in the Mile High City, the extremely dry air does a pretty good job of keeping the Rust Monster from eating many old cars. And there's no shortage of street-parked vintage iron here; I shot this super-clean Lark just a few blocks from my new house. Looks like it was originally purchased in Oregon, if this dealer emblem is correct.
This isn't the first Denver Lark we've seen; this somewhat rougher blue coupe lives nearby.
