Chinese Turn Sebring Into Attractive Electric Car

I wonder if there's an equivalent saying in Mandarin for "when life gives you lemons, make lemonade." In this case, the lemon is the Chrysler Sebring and the lemonade is this surprisingly attractive Chinese electric car.

Chrysler produces the crappy Sebring in China in partnership with Beijing Automotive, so this isn't a case of the Chinese ripping off the worst car in Fiat's portfolio, but rather building a version of it under license.

Equipped with a lithium iron phosphate battery pack, the Beijing BE701 EV can travel up to 125 miles and 100 MPH on a charge. Nothing terribly new there, but the company is using the couple hundred it plans to produce for a trial electric taxi service in Beijing (the city, not the car company), where high-voltage charging stations will recharge cars in under an hour.
