Handcuffed Crook Steals Cop Car, Makes Off With Shotgun

An unnamed Jacinto City, Texas police officer is in for the ribbing of his life after arresting fleeing 40-year-old Donnie Lewis Knight and throwing him into the back of his cruiser. Knight then stole the cruiser and escaped.

The officer captured and arrested Knight after the fleeing man crashed into another car and took off on foot. The officer tossed the crook into the back seat and went to check on the other driver and while doing so, the handcuffed Knight worked his way behind the wheel and took off. Police found the car later but it seems Knight helped himself to the officer's shotgun. Knight is on the loose, considered armed and dangerous. The officer is considered embarrassed and really, really angry at Knight. [MyFoxHouston]
