It's a peculiar form of excess that doesn't see a standard 2009 BMW 7-Series as sufficient for transportation. Though appropriate for a Transporter-esque
showdown, being able to propel yourself to 60 MPH in a nearly 5,000-lb über sedan in just 4.5 seconds seems unnecessary. But when you have an autobahn in front of you and the money to spend, unnecessary doesn't really come into it.
