As the summer cruising season begins, it's causing us to think about what we'd like to be cruising in. More often than not, especially down Metro Detroit's Woodward Avenue, it's a classic car. But what is a classic car?
It's hard to say. We kind of think classic cars are like porn — you know it when you see it. But a good exception-filled rule we like to use is usually 25 years or older from the current year. So, this year's freshman classic car class would be vehicles built in 1984 — say, like the Ford Mustang SVO. Next year, 1985. Seems like a good standard to us. What say you?
