What's The Next Awful Auto Customization Trend?

We've gone through chrome cars, gold-plated cars, matte black cars, and carbon fiber cars. What's the next awful auto customization trend?

We're a big believer in the awful that is, and will be, the fur-covered car. Like the flu jumping from pigs to humans, this trend has jumped from bikes to cars. If you've already covered a car in gold you might as well move up to fur. Most of the fur we've seen has been of a resilient, costume variety. We're waiting to see vehicles upgrade to something a bit more fanciful like a pink mink or a bright blue fox. Like all truly awful car trends we imagine Russia or Dubai to be the starting point of this new disease custom movement.

What are you seeing in your neck of the woods? What's the next melting chrome?
