It appears AVUS Performance has hired a better translator with their latest tuned Audi — a 3.0-liter V6 TDI A5.

AVUS' latest project car sports an ominous matte black paint foil wrap job that gives it that extra oomph of machismo that it needs since its performance tune isn't astronomical. By applying an upgraded ECU to the 3.0-liter V6 TDI diesel engine, the AVUS team was able to squeeze another 40 ponies and an additional 72 lb-ft of torque out of the diesel mill for a grand total of 275-horsepower and 442 lb-ft of torque. Next on the docket was a set of KW coilovers to give the mightier TDI A5 adjustable compression, rebound dampening and a meaner stance while perched upon its 21-inch Jofiel black limited edition wheels. A set of S5 LED tail lamps round out the package.
