    Nitrous Shot Blows 600 HP GT-R Engine

    We've heard about the Nissan GT-R's transmission trouble, but how much abuse will the engine take? Not a 150 shot of NOS on top of 600 wheel HP, that's for sure.

    Samurai Speed already found the limits of its transmission, blowing that when they attempted a modified-engine, launch control-on, drag start. Now it appears they've found the limits of the engine: 600 HP at the wheels plus an extra 150 HP worth of Nitrous.

    What's next for the GT-R-destroying tuner? All forged internals and 1000 HP. We'll see how long that engine holds together. [via NAGTROC]
