The 2010 Kia Sorento could be the vehicle we've all been waiting for. Combining the height of an SUV with the blandness of a Korean mid-size, it could even cure my insomnia.

The new Sorento will be the first vehicle equipped with Kia's exciting R-Diesel engine. Displacing a scintillating 2.2-liters and making a fiery 200 HP, the four banger delivers a positively overwhelming 33 MPG. For less frugally minded Korean crossover enthusiasts, there'll also be a 2.4-liter four-cylinder gas engine and the ubiquitous Hyundai/Kia 3.8-liter V6, although a 6-speed auto should ensure that you don't have too much fun.
