Bugatti Veyron Bleu Centenaire: No Special Engine, Just Paint

The rumors of a new engine in the Bugatti Veyron Bleu Centenaire weren't precisely what we thought. That makes this special edition Veyron nothing more than a pretty face. But how pretty she is.

If you look closely, you can spot this limited edition by the unique LED lights from the Veyron Grand Sport, the aluminum air inlets, chrome mirrors and a strip of brushed aluminium along the roof. Bugatti also forged a set of brand new and unique wheels for this edition. But most breathtaking on the exterior is the special two-tone matte / gloss blue finish.

In the interior, beyond the fine leather-swathed seats and dash in a color called 'snow beige', you'll find a special plaque showing the first Bugatti conceived a 100 years ago.

Unfortunately, the rumors of a new engine were wrong. It's the same as the standard Veyron, running at 1001 HP. However there is one modification to the engine — it's painted in two different colors. It's epic to look at.
